Rare Han-Nom documents exhibited

An exhibition featuring thousands of original and digitized versions of Han Chinese – Nom documents issued during the Le (1428-1788), Tay Son (1778-1802) and Nguyen (1802-1945) dynasties has opened at the provincial library of Thua Thien-Hue.

A workshop on Han Chinese – Nom heritage was also organised on March 22 with the participation of researchers from HCMC and Hue, as well as representatives from villages in the province, where Han – Nom documents have been found.

The workshop discussed the preservation, exchange, digitalization and development of the values of the documents.
