National Phu Day Festival begins

The Phu Day Festival has begun with traditional ceremonies, plus artistic activities and unique national games including singing, human chess, wrestling and dragon and lion dancing.

One of the five biggest national festivals, the Phu Day Festival at Nam Dinh Province's Vu Ban District expresses spiritual life and the Holy Mother worship custom. It contributes to preserving and promoting Vietnamese spiritual cultural values. The Phu Day Festival will end on Sunday, April 10, 2011.
